So I've been throwing the idea I previously mentioned around in my head; proving to myself I can do this-- write the original 50,000 word story that was based around "Unfarmiliar" by the time November starts to give myself some closure on last year. But, when I was throwing it around my mind I came upon one issue;
This story has no set plot. It has several charachters-- one of which I know will die, one of them will betray, and a possible suicide. It started with a fictional drug called "H", and I didn't really know where to go from there. It is a virtually flawless drug that you can't get addicted to, and the only side affect is getting sleepy when you 'come down'. You can't overdose and so on. It starts at a charter school where the main characters meet, talk, and the scared new kid is thrown into the world of underground raves and drugs.
I'm thinking the 'beytral' character is going to tamper with the drug so it'll kill someone without being able to traced and he starts to get ideas and blah blah, they all realize that they're going to be totally fucked if he kills someone because they'll have to rat him out but then they'll get arrested and so forth and so on.
I don't know. I think I'm going with the typical nano spirit and just writing until my fingers fall off and hardly think about how the plot is rolling. THIS IS ABOUT CLOSURE, DAMNIT.
Anyway, that was my desicion. Le w00t. Off to play with photoshop.
